The cowboy & the frenchman (1988)

It was in 1988 when the Barber Magazine controled, for its tenth anniversary, a series of short films produced by foreign realizers. David Lynch thus was invited to this gathering and wrote a small scenario on the topic of " France seen by... "


Thus Harry Dean Stanton, alias Slim, captures with other people a frenchman who after one moment presents his country (France) thanks to food. After this surging meeting, all them achieve the day around a fire, with music and songs mixing French and American.

"The cowboy and the Frenchman" last approximately 22 mn and is in color.
