Lost
highway (1995)
Four years!!!! Yes, four years before hearing again something about
David Lynch. The first photographs that I could see are those published
in Première of August 1996: we can see Patricia Arquette,
Bill Pullman and Balthazar Getty. But no other information on this
film, with share that it is David Lynch and Barry Gifford who met
to write the scénarion. |

An output for November 96 was envisaged, it will be pushed back
at January 97 and there, finally..... On the begining, we are transported
one does not know or, with this road which does not finish any any
more! The film remaining indescribable, one will end up making certain
relations when Première (n° January 97) interviews Lynch
at his place, this one will describe in a few words its film: "
the psychogenic running away "!!
Compared with its old films, this one will receive a favorable greeting
of criticism but the public will not follow... Outgoing Ne that
in few rooms (60 copies), it will quickly be withdrawn from the
poster to the great despair of Lynch!
But what happiness for those which saw it and especially for the
people who did'nt know before the realizer (I saw much people like
that !). As one will think as this version of film is only one short
version... Eh yes!! Several scenes were withdrawn for fear the film
does not make take down the witness..... Maybe..... |
